There is one restaurant in Cleveland, Tennessee which beats all others on service, food, price, and atmosphere. TakoYaki which is located at 172 Old Mouse Creek Rd, Cleveland, TN 37312. It's where the old Belair Grill used to be near the uptown Walmart.
Since it is the end of the year, I wanted to award a local restaurant with the best of the best award. Very few restaurants in Cleveland come close to the food and experience you have at TakoYaki. They offer a wide variety of Japanese cuisine and some of their own specialties. They also serve Sushi and have a Hibachi Grill for an even more unique experience that comes with a show.
If you have never been to a Hibachi grill then I will explain. This is where they cook the food in front of you at a grill which stands in the middle of a table. You get your own Chef and he comes and makes all the different foods you and your table have ordered. It's a fun experience, especially if you have never had it.
You have two options at TakoYaki. You can either eat in the Hibachi or eat in the regular dining area. Both are equally amazing as the service, food, and atmosphere are both equally amazing.
I almost always eat the Hibachi Steak and it's so amazing whether you order it in the Hibachi or in the regular dining area. When you eat in the Hibachi it comes with fried noodles but in the normal dining area it just comes with fried rice. Here's how your courses come out. Soup and Salad. The salad having the best ginger dressing on it EVER and the soup a broth. I have also ordered Miso soup for my soup which is also very good. Then you get your dinner. The Hibachi steak comes with fried rice, steak tips, and a mixture of stir fried veggies. Everything is cooked right and always has been since they first opened and I stepped foot through their doors.
The servers are friendly and always take care of you. The food is just WOW! amazing! You get this amazing show if you eat in the hibachi and the experience is just out of this world. The restaurant is fun, family friendly, and all around GREAT! If you haven't experienced TakoYaki yet, you have to check it out. Trust me that you will go back again and again.
